Post chicken pox bacterial complications manifesting as endocarditis which further complicated as brain abscess, but fortunately it was identified timely and treated completely leaving behind no residual disability

Why is it important?
It is important to follow up primary varicella patients even after resolution of lesions so that any post varicella complications can be identified early and treated timely. Our case represents one such patient with life threatening bacterial complication for which she was appropriately managed and discharged home.
