What is it about?

During and after Anne Vervarcke undertook a one-woman action and walked one year her 'Walk for Homeopathy', she pondered over the actual situation of homeopathy and what might be 'obstacles to cure' them. She questioned the basic assumptions that fuel fight and opposition and looks for a way out.

Why is it important?

Ann's unique vision places homeopathy in the context of the surrounding world and prevailing paradigm rather than looking at it from a victimised angle. Operating in a masculin mind set of looking for scientific legitimacy and the fight to be recognised seems part of the problem rather than the solution. She argues that the path of the healer is a more feminine way of receptiveness and allowing healing to happen. As long as we perceive 'the other' as 'not me' and try to prove our right, making the other wrong, we are not walking our talk.

Perspectives

My hope is to contribute to the understanding of the scope, depth and hence the acceptance of homeopathy as homeopaths themselves evolve to even more balanced and compassionate healers. In the profession thorough knowledge combined with personal development leads to the real sophistication of homeopathy where the unexplicable healing miracles can happen
