What is it about?
A open-pore drainage was positioned in the stomach. Vaccum application resulted in complete evacuation of the stomach for few days. Anastomotic leak healed without operation.

Why is it important?
Intraluminal endoscopic neagtive pressure therapy is a very simple method to "dry out" the stomach. This prevents running of gastric secretion into a transmural anastomotic leak. Anastomotic healing was promoted in few days.
