What is it about?

This study describes the results of a clinical trial that evaluated the use of endoscopically delivered stromal vascular fraction from autologous adipose tissue (tSVFem) to treat gastrointestinal defects that were unresponsive to traditional endoscopic treatments. This study included 30 patients with esophageal and rectal defects. The preliminary results of this ongoing clinical trial (ClinicalTrials.gov number: NCT04670276) suggest that endoscopic injection of autologous tSVFem may treat complex esophageal and rectal defects.
