A fish bone penetrating the aorta was extracted under endoscopy with a Foley catheter after endovascular stent-graft implantation.

Why is it important?

Both tips of the fish bone were impacted in the esophagus. We used a fole catheter to dilate the esophagus and extracted the bone.

Perspectives

The useof a Foley catheter is an option for extracting sharp objects with two ends impacted in the esophagus.
