Any problem of pipeline structure leads to modification of its wall dynamic behavior. This behavior may be monitored using piezo film sensors of dynamic deformations and Operational Modal Analysis techniques for pipeline modal properties estimation.

Actual systems of pipeline may monitor static deformations and temperature (leakage detection) and allow detection of large scale problems. Typically, it happens when a failure is happened. Advanced system considered may detect early stage of technical state modification so to save more money.
