What is it about?

PH variation affect most of the reaction and thus it may also influence the synthesis mechanism of nanoparticles in wet chemical synthesis methods. The present report describe the effect of PH on the synthesis of gold nanoparticles using Eupatorium Odoratum leaf extract. We found that size of the NPs decreases as PH increases. we also check the size dependent catalytic behavior of GNPs on nitrophenol.

The synthesis of gold nanoparticles using Eupatorium Odoratum leaf extract is very facile, economical and takes very less time for completion of reaction.Moreover the NPs formed, remain stable for long days (for couple of years).
