What is it about?

Designing and realizing a monorail inverter gate has long been a popular research goal of scientists in the field of biological molecular engineering. The authors provided a valid solution to this problem. This design of the inverter gate used a zero toehold initiated slow reaction as a delay switch, thus the inverter gate would have enough time to finish the computation before the delay switch enables any product signal to be passed to the downstream reactions.
