What is it about?

The idea is to see if a network of memristors is robust enough to permit the transit of signal. This is a typical situation of an axon when an electric signal is transmitted or received by a neuron. The effect of noise is seen to be well contained.

Why is it important?

It is the first time that such a network of memristors is considered in view of possible applications in biophysics. Memristors represent an innovative device able to describe a neuron cell.

Perspectives

In perspective, our aim is to see how to get a meaningful application for biophysical systems. Also, applications for electronic devices could be exploited.
