What is it about?

In this paper we propose a new scheduling for the sensors to send their data towards a sink node in a body area network. In this approach we exploit the channel characteristics as well as its time correlation in order to save the energy of the sensors for as much as possible. Besides we do the best to keep the reliability of the packets to be sent before a deadline.

Why is it important?

Since the sensors are usually of low energy, any scheduling in which the nodes go to sleep more is considerable.
