Industrial Internet of Things in Robotic Systems: a case study

What is it about?

This work illustrates a concrete case study and related experimental tests in the context of Industrial Internet of Things-aided Robotics. In particular, in order to monitor the status of a target environment, a robot retrieves the information acquired by a IIoT system deployed within an area of interest, using the emerging 6tisch protocol stack. Experimental results illustrate pros and cons of the resulting monitoring system.
