What is it about?

Anomalous forces on asymmetric high-voltage capacitors were described in several articles. New experiments implemented by the authors confirming its reality. A new formalism was developed in order to quantitatively explain those forces. The phenomena seems to be deeply related to the internal electric dipoles of the dielectric. The interaction between the electric dipoles and the environment must be better investigated.

Why is it important?

Such simple electrical propulsion systems could allow in the future the substitution of the fuel propulsion technology.

Perspectives

This theoretical framework can support the next step in our investigation that refers to the understanding of the interaction between the electric dipoles and the external environment of the asymmetric capacitors considering the momentum conservation.
