What is it about?
The optical microwave technology is used to load the microwave on the light and transmit the distance of a section of optical fiber. The microwave frequency is determined by detecting the phase shift of the transmitted microwave.

Why is it important?
In this paper, a new microwave frequency measurement scheme is proposed based on microwave phase position discrepancy detection. The theoretical analysis and corresponding experiments are conducted on the scheme. The experimental results prove the feasibility of the scheme. The advantages of the scheme is the minimum microwave frequency measurement error of 0.387MHz within the knowledge of the author.
