What is it about?
This paper proposes robust virtual inertia control for islanded microgrids. In such microgrid, the lack of system inertia due to replacing conventional generating units by renewable energy sources (RESs) invokes undesirable influences to microgrid frequency stability, resulting in the weakening of the microgrid.

Why is it important?
With an increase of RESs penetration nowadays, microgrids lack of inertia, creating the difficulty in stabilizing system frequency and voltage, leading to the weakening of microgrid stability and resiliency. To solve such problem, This paper proposes robust virtual inertia control for islanded microgrids.
