What is it about?
Solid-State Transformer (SST) is an emerging technology which will play an important role in the future electrical grids. In this work, you can find an asymptotically stable controller for SST in distribution system applications. The controller is very fast because it has a compting engine that computes the steady-state value of the control signal and stabilizes it by a transient complementary signal.

Why is it important?
Our study shows that complex power electronic system of the SST can be stabilized globally.
Perspectives
The future work will extend the proposed method in the article to cancel any structural and nonstructural uncertainty in the model and parameters. Therefore, a fast and robust controller is expected.
