Stability analysis of digitally controlled LCL-type grid-connected inverter considering the delay effect

What is it about?

For the digitally controlled LCL-type grid-connected inverter system, the computation and PWM delays play an important role in the system performance. This paper has presented a general way to analyse the delay effect on the system stability and damping performance by means of Nyquist diagram in the continuous domain.

Why is it important?

For the digitally controlled LCL-type grid-connected inverter, the digital control delay has a significant effect on the system stability. However, when the delay is different, the stability constraint condition will be changed.
