What is it about?

Terahertz radiation is gaining application in various fields like imaging,non-destructive testing,spectrocopy and communication.However, lack of compact and cost effective THz sources is preventing the entry of terahertz technology into mass market despite its pontential.This work looked at the development of compact and cost effective terahertz sources from a 785nm semiconductor laser diode.
