Why is it important?

Our findings showed that combination of known phytochemical (Boswellic Acid is known for its anti-inflammatory activity) with silver nanoparticles will reduce the dose of antibiotics by 10-100 fold. Thus,with the help of nano technology we can avoid indiscriminate use of antibiotics and it can also be tried against Multi Drug Resistant Bacterial Infections.
