What is it about?

framework for economic emission dispatch problem (EEDP) in microgrids. The problem of EEDP aims at finding the optimal scheduling of renewable energy resources (RERs) in isolated and grid connected microgrids.

Why is it important?

• Providing formulation for isolated and grid connected MGs considering different types of RERs. • Presenting multiobjective MFO to solve the EEDP. • additional scenarios are employed to emulate up normal operating modes. • Uncertainty modeling of wind unit's in EEDP problem • Providing economic and environmental benefits.

Perspectives

i. Achieving an efficient scheduling of RERs with nine studied cases that cover single and multi-objectives frameworks that achieve operational constraints for different operating modes considering wind energy uncertainty. ii. Proving the EMFO capability for the tested microgrids. The lowest minimum solution is proved using EMFO’s superiority over other competitive methods. iii. Providing a complete capture of EEDP formulation for isolated and network connected modes of MG considering different types of RERs. iv. Achieving economic and environmental benefits using the EMFO at flexible scheduling of RERs for different MG modes at normal and abnormal operating condition.
