What is it about?
Smart Grids or the next generation of the electric grid include essentially two networks , the power network and the communication netwok . This paper propose a method with wich we can resolve the economic dispatch problem in power plants considring together the power network constraints and those of the communication network .

Perspectives
Writing this article was a great pleasure . As a perspective of this work we aim to consider more practical constraints in the formulation of the economic dispatch problem and how we can resolve it in a distribtuted manner .
