What is it about?

Taking advangtage of the fractional order vector fitting method can reduce the approximation order, especially for the skin effect of the conductor. Due to the long memory effect of the fractional order differential equations, the numerical calculation is inefficient, so a recursive integration is proposed in this paper.

Why is it important?

Taking advangtage of the fractional order vector fitting method can reduce the approximation order when considering the frequent dependent ground return impedance of the MTLs. Furthermore, the recursive integration method for the fractional order differential equations proposed in this paper can achieve an efficient solution.

Perspectives

The method proposed in this paper can be used for the modelling of the frequent frequency problems of the transient analysis in the time domain. For example, the overhead transimission line system, cablel, et. al..
