This study presents a hierarchical distributed structure based on the Holonic concept for reactive power control in smart grids.

Why is it important?
The improving, the computational efficiency, minimizing the active power losses and voltage deviations, optimal utilization of reactive power sources, less data traffic loads, and increasing the fault tolerance are some key features of the proposed approach
Perspectives
I believe that this study is a novel structure in smart grid operation and can help to increase the efficiency of the power system.
