What is it about?
This paper presents a brief overview of recent developments on the integral inequality approach to stability of linear systems with time-varying delays from 2005 to 2018, and providing some stability criteria for three cases of time-varying delays using the canonical Bessel-Legendre inequality.

Why is it important?
It summarises some technical points in the stability analysis of time-delay systems, such as the construction of Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals, the improvements over reciprocally convex inequalities, and the insightful understanding of the refinement of allowable delays sets.
Perspectives
This paper is well-written, co-authored by the first-class researchers in this field in the world.
