AFR plays an key role in the minimization of the carbon dioxide and harmful pollutant emissions and maximization of fuel economy.

Why is it important?

Due to the environmental and economic concerns, control of AFR is essential and important. Our findings show that our proposed controller can deal with this AFR problem very well.

Perspectives

To the best of our knowledge, the proposed LPV-based fuzzy technique is seldom used for the AFR system and suitable to tackle this type of control system with a time-varying delay and external large disturbances.
