What is it about?

Wefirst propose a three-party group key distribution scheme. We then extend the basic three-party schemetoestablish a group key for a large size of group communications. one is based on the Key Derivation Functions (KDFs) and the other is arranging users in a full binary tree graph.

Why is it important?

A novel design ofgroup key distribution using pre-shared pairwise keys is proposed; This design is lightweight and can be applied to any type of pairwise key distribution schemes; Two generalized group key distribution schemes for a larger size ofusers are also included

Perspectives

Our generalized multi-party group key distribution schemes are non-interactive, efficient and lightweight. The main operations in our schemes are key comparison between two or more than two keys and the computation of KDFs. It is lightweight.
