What is it about?

A technique to compensate for nonlinear distortion in satellite transponders operated under multicarrier excitation. the technique process the data per carrier (producing data strems per branch). However, it considers the signal expansion distortion effects of multiple carrier combinations (produced by nonlinear operators) at a reduced signal processing computational cost.

Why is it important?

The technique enhances the satellite transponder efficiency enbaling to operate the transponder at lower OBO with better Csat/No figure. This improves the link quality and the overall power/mass ratio.
