What is it about?
GDI based 4-bit Vedic multiplier is basically an array multiplier. We have shown for the first time its DC analysis for benchmarking and compared GDI and CMOS based on that.

Why is it important?
This is important in VLSI industry as till now it only uses CMOS technique to form IC's. GDI is a new technique which reduces the number of transistors leads to less delay. Vedic mathematics, on the other hand, reduces the power dissipation in a circuit. So overall it's an efficient circuit with the lesser area.
Perspectives
Writing this article was a great pleasure and tough one. I hope this article find it's way to reach people who wanted to know about the technology used in IC's nowadays and what are the disadvantages of them.
