What is it about?
Antenna design and fabrication are very important for antennas development. The 3D antennas or stereo antennas feature some advantages and design freedom, compared with planar design. This work presents a powerful method by 3D printing technology to design and fabricate 3D antennas. Simulations and measurements indicate that this 3D printing is effective and promising.

Why is it important?
Our method overcomes the difficulties of current available 3D printing technologies for antennas, and can to applied any kinds of antenna no matter how complex the antenna structure it is. Besides, our technology has the advantages of low fabrication cost, easy and straightforward way for 3D antennas modeling and fabrication, and specifically suitable for the design of antenna array and metamaterials antenna.

This work is promisint in the design of 3D antenna, antenna array and metamaterials antennas.
