What is it about?

There are some design concerns in modern SAR (synthetic aperture radar) satellite imaging systems. We provide an optimized architecture which is a good candidate for addressing these issues.

Why is it important?

To incorporate multiple SAR algorithms in a real-time processor, we propose an integrated SAR imaging system architecture based on dual-operator engines and an optimized switching network. The proposed architecture is implemented as a superset of multiple SAR imaging algorithms with high compatibility for a variety of data formats; this architecture is capable of performing multimode real-time SAR image processing.

Perspectives

Writing this article was a great pleasure for me and my co-authors. We hope this artcle helps for modern SAR (synthetic aperture radar) satellite imaging systems. The sea of stars our journey begins.
