What is it about?
Because few studies focus on coupling the individual-level defense with the cyber epidemic attack theoretically, it is not rather clear about the mutual effect between the individual's self-protection action and the network security situation. This paper proposes a dynamical framework by coupling the individual defense model with the cyber epidemic model to study the interaction between the network security situation and individual-level defense decision.

Why is it important?
In our paper, the aim is to investigate the interaction between the individual-level defense and cyber epidemic attacks from the perspective of network structure. We think this paper is committed to human behavior in cybersecurity, which considered as an emerging area of construct the science of cybersecurity.
