One step delayed estimation of disturbance is commonly used in discrete time control system. This paper discussed on the stability issue of the discrete-time sliding mode control with one step delayed estimation of unknown disturbance, in presence of mode uncertainties.

Why is it important?

We put forward a method to judge the stability of the system with the discrete time sliding mode controller and the one step delayed estimation. A first order input filer is introduced between the control input and the plant, which may stabilize the former unstable system.
