NOMA+PRS Amplify-and-forward relay systems
What is it about?
In wireless communications systems it is important to optimize the utilization of channel resources so as to provide a better service for users. This addresses this necessity with a solution for users sharing these resources adjusting their power allocation ratio.
Why is it important?
This paper investigates a new scheme assuming joint NOMA and PRS. In particular, the outage performance and the sum rate of NOMA schemes in AF relay systems with PRS are investigated, yelding to the specification of the NOMA with PRS scheme which i proposed to improve both sum rate and user fairness. Outage probability and its asymptotic analysis are presented for the proposed scheme to realize the impact of PRS on the performance of NOMA. An approximation closed-form expression for the ergodic capacity of each user is derived for the proposed scheme. It is shown that the outage probabilities at users scale inversely with the product of the SNRs of the source-todestination and relay-to-destination links
