What is it about?
FSO is an interesting alternative to consider for next generation broadband in order to support large bandwidth unlicensed spectrum and excellent security. In this paper, the mitigation atmospheric turbulence effect by MISO BCH FSO is presented.

Why is it important?
In this paper, the study of three different mitigation turbulence techniques for free space optical (FSO) systems are analyzed over gamma-gamma (GG) fading channels with considering pointing error effects and analytical results are depicted by using a realistic set of parameter values, to lend a helpful insight to the performance of a 10km distance FSO link under atmospheric turbulence condition.
Perspectives
In previous articles, FSO systems are used for high speeds between two fixed points at intervals of up to several kilometers; a distance of 10 km is presented for the first time in this paper
