Why is it important?
Actual physical properties are mostly fractional order.Use of fractional order circuits to describe certain physical properties is more accurate and concise than integer order circuits.
Perspectives
The mathematical derivation of this paper is really boring, they are all to ensure passive realization.Multivariate case is the ultimate goal of this paper, but it is limited by bivariate spectral factorization and has been difficult to implement so far.I hope that the proof of this paper can provide some reference for future research.
