What is it about?
A generalised transmit-receive joint spatial modulation and its optimal maximum likelihood detector are proposed respectively. The analytical and simulated results testify the proposed GTRSM behaves good BER performance and can significantly enhance the channel capacity compared with conventional spatial modulations.

Why is it important?
This paper generalises transmit-receive joint spatial modulation to a more frequency spectrum efficient spatial modulation.
