What is it about?
TCP transmission rate improvement in multi-hop wireless networks
Featured Image
Why is it important?
i) Fix an optimum upper bound Initial Window (IW) value ii) The new window increment pattern accelerates the transmission rate iii) Fair rate reduction based on TCP flows bandwidth
Perspectives
The RASS and FAR TCP uses newer window growth pattern with the faster increment rate. The ECN based rate reduction avoids senderside false window deflation. During congestion control process, sender reduces the transmission rate based TCP flows growth rate. The RASS and FAR TCP achieves a substantial throughput improvement and latency reduction against NCE and New Jersey.
