What is it about?

Traditionally Rho proteins are known to be involved in cytoskeleton of the cell, in cell movement and attachment. The NFkB is a transcription factor involved in cell signaling and diverse processes. This article is about how Rho proteins feed into the NFkB, in traditional as well as non-traditional roles of Rho.

Why is it important?

These regulatory pathways have importance in various diseases including inflammation and cancers, and we suggest that targeting RhoGTPases may be applied in therapy for these conditions.

Perspectives

The Rho GTPase pathway requires more study for inflammation and stem cell biology.
