What is it about?
The ethanol to acetic acid is proven to be in two steps, one catalytic and one non-catalytic. Until now, research assumed all steps on the catalyst. Hence, oxidation catalysts were always considered, when the catalytic step to be improved in the oxidative dehydrogenation.
