Perspectives
This paper is important it is a step in our understanding of the deep eutectic solvents, in this paper we move on from the first observations which were published in Cogent Chemistry. Rather than using a single constant ionic strength system (sodium chloride vs DES) with aliquat 336 we investigate the system using three different solvent extraction reagents which operate by different mechanisms. We also start to express ourselves using activity coefficent for the first time when considering the extraction from the DES system.
