What is it about?

Cesium sequestration from aqueous solution using different host materials (adsorbents) is environment dependent. From various research studies, apart from the condition of materials synthesis, conditions of cesium containing aqueous solution are important factors influencing the performance of each material in use. The study reviews major environmental conditions on cesium sorption and the resulting sorption parameters based on each condition.

Why is it important?

It is an important study to consider by the researchers and the stakeholders in the industries for cesium sorption from nuclear/radioactive wastewater

Perspectives

Augmenting the performance of different adsorbents depends on the sorption conditions considered in the study. The study also help in the selection of materials for adsorption of cesium
