The preparation of chiral solids is important in chemistry, biology and medicine. We demonstrate that chiral solids could be obtained from achrial precursors.

Why is it important?
It is common to synthesize chiral solids from chiral precursors, however, it is very scarce that the arrangement of achiral components could generate bulk chirality in solids.
