The gas sensing material Ag-LaFeO3 is semiconductor. Its resistance changes when it is in air and in target gas. This change enables it to be sensitive to the target gas so that to realize the detection of the target gas.

Formaldehyde is a common pollution in air. A formaldehyde gas sensor is to tell the content of formaldehyde in air. When the content exceed a certain standard, the human body would get harmed. So it is very important to monitor the contant of formaldehyde in the air we breathe.

Doing this research and writing this article is very meaningful. It helps me to know what air pollutions might exist in the indoor air and what damage these air pollutions could cause to human. Therefore, I would kuow how to protect myself.
