What is it about?

We have developed a new graphene-based electrochemical filter for water purification. It utilized the high specific surface are of graphene and high conductivity of carbon nanotubes to adsorb and oxidize chemical contaminants in water. High removal efficiencies of several chemical contaminants have been achieved and this filter is potentially a highly cost-effective filter for water purification.
