What is it about?

This article about the flow behavior of rubbers in presence of nano fillers. For this purpose, we first prepared a natural rubber and a synthetic rubber nano composite and studied the variation in viscosity, storage modulus and loss modulus by varying the frequency and temperature. This study indicates that the natural rubber have more favorable interaction with nano filler while the synthetic rubber have less interaction with the nano filler.

Why is it important?

The comparison of rheological behavior between natural and chlorobutyl rubber is done for the first time. In this article, we also tried to explain the abnormal rheological behavior of chlorobutyl rubber using a new kind of mechanism.
