Why is it important?

Nucleoside phosphoramidites are important for the synthesis of RNA, DNA and modified nucleic acids, The phosphoramidates are usually considered inherently unstable to heat. Our work shows that it need not be the case. Moreover, microwave heating decreases the time required for the reaction to minutes (down from the usual hours or overnight for some cases).
