Discovery of low temperature (80 deg.C) coalescence of nanocrystalline Pt in NO atmosphere. Proposition of its mechanism via turbulent, self-lifting surface reconstruction. Supported by results from novel, PXRD based technique focused on nano-surface phenomena.
