Why is it important?

At the time of its publication, it was a comprehensive review of all of the literature on metallosupramolecular grid complexes.

While working in Professor Jean-Marie Lehn's lab I had the opportunity to learn about metallosupramolecular chemistry and I wanted to have a comprehensive overview of the literature on this novel class of supramolecular structures.
