What is it about?

Porous organic polymer is a new material. The structure and the funcation can be designed before synthesis. It attracts a great attention to be used as the catalyst support. However, it remains as a challenge to disperse the metal into the porous organic polymer. This work reports a novel way to load and highly disperse Pd into porous organic polymer.

Why is it important?

We combine a solvent effect with a simple room temperature electron reduction with argon glow discharge as the resource of electrons, in order to disperse the metal into the porous organic polymer.
