Optimized deN2O activity of CuO-CeO2 though synthesis route and alkali (Cs) promotion.

What is it about?

CuO–CeO2 mixed oxides prepared by co-precipitation exhibited the optimum deN2O performance and the further adjustment of their local surface chemistry through alkali (Cs) promotion enhanced the deN2O activity.

Why is it important?

The fine-tuning of CuO-CeO2 binary system through synthesis procedure as well as alkali promotion (Cs) leads to highly active and stable noble metal-free catalysts for the catalytic decomposition of N2O.
