Electroactive supramolecular polymers for drug delivery

What is it about?

Here we describe the use of polymers that deliver drugs in response to electricity. We used the anti-inflammatory dexamethasone as a clinically relevant model drug.

Why is it important?

This is the first example in the scientific literature of the use of supramolecular polymers that deliver drugs in response to electricity.
